1. Conditions of use

BIZnessDirect.co.uk cannot be held responsible for content of external websites. BIZnessDirect.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any business listed on the directory.

Although we cannot review every business listing, and are not responsible for the content / business practices of any of these listings (and external links), we reserve the right to delete any listing that may be breaking rules for any reason.

2. Application of these conditions of use

By accessing or using any part of BIZnessDirect.co.uk you agree to be bound by the following conditions of use. If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, you may not access or use BIZnessDirect.co.uk.

We may change these conditions at any time without any notice to you. By your continued access and use of BIZnessDirect.co.uk you agree to be bound by the most current version of the conditions of use. Please check these conditions periodically for any changes that have been made.

3. Copyright and database

Except where otherwise noted, BIZnessDirect.co.uk owns legally and beneficially all the intellectual property rights in the content of all the BIZnessDirect.co.uk web pages (including the design, text, graphics and arrangement thereof) and in the software used therein. Such intellectual property rights include, without limitation, copyrights and database rights in the information displayed as BIZnessDirect.co.uk Search results which are extracted from a compilation owned by Oranda Design.

4. Website availability

We endeavour to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. Access to this website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. Frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction will always be limited as best as we can practically ensure.

5. Website Access

BIZnessDirect.co.uk grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website. The website and any portion of this website (including any images, logos, text) may not be:

  • Downloaded (other than page caching) or modified, or any portion of it under any circumstances.
  • Reproduced, copied, sold, resold, duplicated, or otherwise exploited or used for commercial purposes.

6. Website Usage

We take reasonable precautions to ensure our website is free from viruses, spyware and any other similar programs, we cannot accept liability for any viruses transmitted or received during the use of this website.

It is your responsibility as the user of this website to have appropriate and adequate software to protect against any of the above issues.

7. Conduct

You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the website or access to it to be interrupted, impaired or damaged in any way.

You must not use this website for any unlawful use or purpose, to include but not restricted to any of these activities:

  • In connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity
  • Send, use or reuse any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing; or in breach of copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or any other right; or is otherwise injurious to third parties; or objectionable; or which consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any "spam"

8. Permitted uses

No materials from BIZnessDirect.co.uk may be copied, downloaded, reproduced, broadcast, shown or played in public, republished, uploaded, posted, stored, transmitted or distributed in any way or adapted or changed in any way.

We cannot take responsibility for email communications that may be sent from the use of this site. Please consider this when you place your email address on your business entry.

9. Payment Security

BIZnessDirect.co.uk use the payment service provider Paypal to process all our online payments. BIZnessDirect.co.uk never see your payment details as these are kept secure and private via the Paypal payment processing system.

Your credit card / debit card statement will display Paypal for any transaction undertaken through BIZnessDirect.co.uk.

10. Listing your Business

Submission of multiple listings for the same business will not speed up the free listing activation process and will lead to all listings being removed.

BIZnessDirect.co.uk retain the right to remove any free listing if we believe there has been an abuse of our free listing service.

Any free listings found to have a telephone, website or other information in the business name will be removed and not considered for activation.

Please ensure you select the most relevant category and sub category for your business in STEP 3 of the signup process. BIZnessDirect.co.uk will not re-categorise listings; incorrect categorisation will not be helpful to your listing in search results.

NO OBLIGATION & NO AUTOMATIC PAYMENT RENEWALS: There is no obligation to renew. We do not set your payment to recurring so you do not need to worry about cancelling your listing. We will contact you once near to the time of expiry to see if you would like to continue listing on our website.

11. FREE Listings

Abuse of the free listings submission will result in listings deletion. Abuse of categories may also lead to availability being removed for the free listing option. Other listing options will remain however.

Only one listing per email account is allowed.

Can take up to 6 months to approve due to the number of requests and is subject to approval

Submission of multiple listings for the same business will not speed up the activation process and will lead to all listings being removed

The use of fake email addresses will result in listing being deleted without consideration.

BIZnessDirect.co.uk retain the right to remove any free listing if we believe there has been an abuse of our free listing service

Any free listings found to have a telephone, website or other information in the business name will be removed and not considered for activation

Free Listing length is 6 months. Upgrade to a FAST ACTIVATION option for only £3.00 to get a further 6 months and an instantaneous listing

You will receive an email to the address you have provided during the signup process requiring you to confirm your listing. Your listing cannot be considered for activation unless this is done.

12. Refunds / Cancellations

BIZnessDirect.co.uk do not provide refunds on any advertising space or SEO listings credits that have been paid for. You enter into the agreement that you are contracted to the advertising time length that you pay for on registration within BIZnessDirect.co.uk.

Unused SEO business listing credits are non-refundable.

You may cancel your advertisement at any time but will not receive a refund for the outstanding time not used.

When you pay for a business listing on BIZnessDirect.co.uk you must provide express consent, by agreeing to our terms at the point of payment, acknowledging that the right to cancel the listing contract under regulation 29(1) of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 will be lost so that your custom-created business listing can go live instantly on BIZnessDirect.co.uk. No refunds will be provided once payment has been made for your business listing. If you do not agree with this please do not place a business listing on BIZnessDirect.co.uk

13. SEO Credits

The number of credits required to place a business listing may increase at any time and without notice.

SEO credits are non-refundable; any unused credits will not be refunded.

SEO credits have no monetary value.

14. Email Receivership from BIZnessDirect.co.uk

You will only ever receive two emails from BIZnessDirect.co.uk. 1) When you signup for a listing; 2) A listing expiry email notification at the end of your listing's life.

Paid listings will also receive a payment receipt email from Paypal confirming payment for the listing.

We will never share your email address or other details with any other companies and we will never use these details for any marketing purposes.

An email will be sent to the email address that was registered when setting up a listing to confirm your listing. Express and Prestige listings emails will also contain information providing instructions on how to upload image(s) to the listing. It will be sent via team@biznessdirect.co.uk so please ensure that you check your inbox for this email message. Please check your junkmail filter in case the email message has dropped into this.

We will contact you once near to the time of expiry to see if you would like to continue listing on our website.

You acknowledge that BIZnessDirect.co.uk is not liable for you not receiving your confirmation email. It is your responsibility to ensure the confirmation email provider is properly setup to ensure delivery of emails from our domain name (biznessdirect.co.uk), including not flagging emails from our domain name as spam. If you have not received an email after 2 hours and you have checked your email, please contact us.

15. Listing Appearance

The style and design of the listings and Prestige Listing mini site may be changed at any time without notice. The listing details / information that was provided upon signup will always remain intact regardless of design and style.
