About BIZ
BIZ is the new way to find and advertise business and services on
the Internet.
We have designed BIZ to be simple-to-use, combining effectively placed
advertisements to minimise clutter, yet provide advertising opportunities
that benefit both viewers and businesses.
As with all good ideas, BIZ is continuously evolving. We are always
looking to improve the search functionality that will benefit our
advertisers and viewers alike.
At the time of launch BIZ already implements several behind-the-scenes
methods to index and display search results. We are already researching
and developing new ideas to help make BIZ the most effective and easy-to-use
directory in the UK.
Many of our categories benefit from "Secondary Category"
classifications meaning that they can be found within another relevant
category. For example
health food shops will be listed in our Shops
category, but when a viewer searches for businesses within the Food
and Drink category, this sub category will also be listed.
Another example is weddings. Hairdressers
and halls are not specific to a wedding, but are
2 very important areas when organising or preparing for a wedding.
This is why when you search for weddings, you will
also find these areas of business. |
